A 42GHz-nand Hi-Vision wireless camera system has been developed. This system removes various restriction, such as camera-cable setting, at the field production. The wireless camera system consists of the Hi-Vision handy camera, the TCI encoder/decoder and the 42GHz transmitter/receiver. Input Hi-Vision baseband component signals are converted to TCI(Time Compressed Integration) signal, and modulate 42GHz RF signal. RF output power is 0.1W and the transmission distance is up to 500m.
