An accommodation measurement system based on photorefraction method was developed. The fundus of the subject's eye is illuminated by an infra red LED and the reflected light was captured by a CCD with a concave lens and a cylindrical lens. The changes of the shape of the reflected light image corresponding to the accommodation state of the eye were observed It was found that this method is feasible for automated objective accommodation measurement.
