we have proposed Global Motion Senmentation algorithm(GMS). In order to eliminat the influence of corrupted areas and/or areas which follows different motion parameters, we used threshold type cost function in the GMS algorithm. Besides the threshold type cost function, there are several robust type cost functions. In this paper, we compare the efficiency of some robust type cost functions. The results of computer simulation shows that gently-sloping cost functions have an effect on stable motion parameter set estimation.
