This paper describes the implementation of the proposed CMOS image sensor with non-destructive image mode. The proposed sensor reads out high-speed intermediate pictures and video-rate pictures. The applications of the sensor to the low-power motion vector estimation and the high-fidelity imaging of a moving object are also shown.
