Abstract
A low dark-current CCD register driven through the barrier has been proposed for use in FT CCD image sensor. This paper describes the simulated results concerning with the connection of the buried photo-diodes and the CCD register. Charge transfer from photo-diode to CCD register and that in the CCD register were analyzed taking care of the dark-current. The results indicate that the combination is useful for reduction of dark-current in the IL CCD image sensor.
