We analyzed the image quality for ink jet printer by numerical simulation. Our simulation was designed to estimate the printed image degraded by fluctuation of ink dot concerned with the nozzle accuracy, mechanical error and unexpected random error. It is shown that fluctuation of nozzle diameter is dominant factor in granularity.
