We are developing the MPEG-4 Advanced Simple Profile Video decoder using the MAPCA media processor based on the VLIW architecture. By efficient use of Inner-Product SIMD instruction of MAPCA, the decoder can perform QMC (Quarter sample Motion Compensation) at high speed.
