We made a software transcoder changed into MPEG-4 stream from MPEG-2 stream at high speed as an experiment. In this system, in case MPEG-4 encoding processing is carried out, while performing a transcoder at high speed by [which extracted from MPEG-2 stream] using motion vector information, the structure of a video can be analyzed and a structure information file can be created.
