10-7 Measurement of incident light falling on a mobile display in various environments

Abstract

Using a digital camera with a fisheye lens, we measured incident light at surface of a mobile display in 112 different environments including outdoor, indoor, and in-car. These data were analyzed to depict the some typical environments in which the mobile displays were used. These results would be used to evaluate the legibility of reflective or transflective LCDs and to establish the method for measuring reflection property of mobile displays.
