Abstract
This paper describes the development of High-Defmition Virtual Puppet System. Virtual Puppet System is a real-time image composition system with the High-Definition camera image and the dynamic 3D object which is generated from multi-viewpoint images. By using an augmented reality technology the dynamic 3D object is rendered, synchronized with the background High-Definition camera images. This system can be applied to a new video production for the sports and educational TV program etc.
