19-1 A 1024×768 High-Speed and High-Accuracy 3-D Image Sensor

Abstract

We present a high-speed XGA 3-D image sensor based on the light-section method, which has been designed using a high-speed access method with an adaptive threshold circuit and column-parallel time-domain ADCs. The performance has been estimated by post-layout simulations, and some demonstrations are presented by a prototype image sensor.
