We propose a viewing system of oil painting from arbitrary direction. This system enables a user to observe one oil painting from the viewpoint user inputted, and it can express the irregularities on surface of oil painting. This system is based on Ray-Space method that is one of IBR(Image Based Rendering), so can generate realistic images. But, the Ray-Space data is large amount and the system is not real-time system. Then, we approximate the data by functions of quadric and shorten the computational time. This system is useful in Digital Archiving.
