8-4 Advanced demosaicing methods based on the changes of colors in a local region, PartII

Abstract

We have developed the demosaicing methods based on the changes of colors in a local region. In this paper, we describe the technique to improve the demosaicing accuracy. The proposed technique evaluates the reliability of the analyzing result of the color changes and improves the demosaicing accuracy by switching the demosaicing methods according to the evaluation result. The result of image simulation show that the improvement can reduce the artifact noises.
