We analyze and optimize parameters of the pathology-image retrieval method which we have proposed. In the method, we use nucleus-cytoplasm which is one of the useful features of pathology-images. This feature is calculated for each block in the method. In this paper, we show that the optimal block size is about twice as large as the average size of nucleus.
