Abstract

Measurements with an optical topography system were made in changes in cerebral blood flow in the cerebral cortex of the frontal lobe when speech on Japanese and Italian news broadcasts were played back at speeds of 0.5 times slower than the normal speed of speech (1.0 times), and at speeds of 1.5 times higher.
