4-3 Ocular Aberration and Image Blur as Factors of Color Assimilation

Abstract

Experiments with pinholes show that ocular chromatic aberration is a principal factor of the hue assimilation and is a subsidiary factor of the lightness assimilation. Also, simple experiments shows that image blur is a factor of both hue and lightness assimilation.
