We propose new operation methods of a FEA-HARP (Field Emitter Array-High-gain Avalanche Rushing amorphous Photoconductor) image sensor for maintaining picture quality even when strong light enters the sensor. Our experimental results revealed that the generation of blooming could be suppressed by using new operation methods.
