Abstract
We have investigated the aerodynamic stabilizer mechanisms for the thin optical disk. The axial runout was effectively suppressed by restriction on air-inflow into the stabilizer. As the result, the clearance setting between the thin optical disk and the stabilizer was extended by about three times.
