7-3 Hybrid Image-Denoising Approach with the Redundant DCT and the Shift-Invariant Haar Wavelet Transform

Abstract

This paper proposes the hybrid image-denoising approach which connected the redundant DCT and the shift-invariant Haar wavelet transform hierarchically, and experimentally demonstrates that performance of image denoising is improved than the existing method.
