12-1 Measurement of transmission rates of home network using ping command

Abstract

We propose the method to measure transmission rates of the home network by using "ping" command. The measured rates with our method were almost same as the rates those were calculated with transmission time and size of sending data, so the accuracy of our method was confirmed. Transmission rates of various transmission lines were measured by using our method.
