Abstract
This paper presents a new method, called selective averaging, using a multi-aperture system with CMOS image sensors, to reduce random telegraph signal noise and dark current. It has been verified by simulation that the standard deviation of the noise is reduced by half with a 3 × 3 multi-aperture system.
