17-2 Wide Dynamic Range Imaging and High Speed Object Tracking by Segment Based Image Sensor

Abstract

We have been investigating the image sensor whose focal plane is divided into several segments. The architecture can adjust frame rate and exposure time for each segment. This paper proposes the methods of wide dynamic range imaging and high speed object tracking using the segment based image sensor.
