17-3 A pixel structure with LEF charge modulation for time-resolved CMOS image sensors

Abstract

This paper presents a new type of charge modulation pixel structure using lateral electric field. It has attractive features for time-resolved CMOS image sensors which are able to transfer charge in high-speed by not through a transfer gate and to modulate different signals simultaneously.
