8-3 Illuminant estimation for background replacement using a chromatic adaptation transform

Abstract

Background replacement using a chromatic adaptation transform fits a color of a foreground image to an illuminant of a landscape used as new background image, and can enhance realism of video chatting. In this paper, to improve the realism, we examine an illuminants estimation method of the background replacement.
