深層学習を用いたイントラ予測の候補モード決定手法の検討

High efficiency video coding (HEVC) Intra Coding requires considerable calculation. In this paper, we propose a study on intra prediction mode decision using deep learning instead of rough mode decision (RMD) executed in HEVC reference software (HM 16.4) Experiments result the proposed method achieves 2.96 % BD-rate improvement compared to exiting techniques.
