A method was created that reduces kinetosis (motion sickness) frequently occurs when using smartphones, tablets, and other advanced mobile devices while moving vehicles such as cars, airplanes, and marine vessels. A combination of a camera and accelerometer is used on an advanced mobile device to display images that resolve the two causes of kinetosis; fixational eye movements and the sensory conflict theory that arises due to the inconsistency between visually processed information and sense of equilibrium. This method reduces the causes of kinetosis when viewing media in a vehicle and makes for a more comfortable user experience while moving.
