We verificated the parameters of a bilateral filter for generating moire picture-like images from photographs. To investigate changes of moire patterns of images obtained by varying the parameters of the bilateral filter, we conducted experiments using the image of Lenna. As a result of the experiments, we reveal how moire patterns vary with the parameters of the bilateral filter.
