A Simple Method for Extracting Time and Control Code Information for Video Tape Editing by Using the Fixed Rate Delay Circuits

Abstract

This paper describes a new simplified method of extracting Time Code information for video tape editing. The method uses the new simple fixed rate delay circuits which can be easily manufactured as LSIs. It can extract Time Code information at a rate from 1/31 to 130 times the normal tape running speed of VTR.
