Abstract
Color-variable emission in electroluminescent (EL) devices based on multilayer π-conjugated polymer film is described. EL devices containing two emissive layers with different band-gap separated by hole-transporting layer exhibited color-variable emission depending on the polarity of the electric bias. It was also demonstrated that the use of a fluorescent dye-doped conjugated polymer as an emissive layer enabled polarity-and voltage-tunable multicolor emission.
