SID'97 Report : CRT

Abstract

1997 is a 100th anniversary of CRT. At SID'97,Keynote Address and special exhibition to look back the CRT history were presented. Celebrating the anniversary, also the CRT sessions were very active with 26 papers, 50% over to 17 papers of SID'96. Among them, there were introduction of new and very original products to the market, flat CRT with original concept, fundamental technology as advanced electron gun and cathode allowing higher current density were very impressive ones.
