The VRML becomes the popular modeling language to create a virtual world on the personal computers. Also the VRML already has APIs to control the world from external Java programs. The VRML and Java program language offer us the easier way to share the virtual world and make collaboration through the network. In this paper, we examine how to realize the collaborative VRML generation system using the Client/Server model. The design and implementation of the prototype for distributed house planning system are also described.
