Abstract
We investigated viewing angle characteristics of Super-TFT-LCD monitors, and the difference of display size between LCD and CRT by ergonomic measurements. The Super-TFT monitors had wide viewing angle of contrast, brightness, grayscale non-inversion range and small color sift. These display characteristics induced wide tolerable viewing ranges in the pattern of characters, figures and pictures. The display size of 13.9" TFT-LCD corresponds to 17" CRT display.
