Abstract
In this paper, a video classification method based on the wave form analysis is proposed for the application of efficient video digest generation regarding users preference information. Our method is mainly based on the classification by the color information extracted from the video, regarding the transition of color information between video segments. Starting from the result of classification, we have also investigated the "rhythm of video" by the Godlove color distance defined in the HSV color space.
