3-2 A Field Experiment of an ISDB-T On-air Relay Station Channel Equalizer for Echoes outside the Guard Interval

Abstract

We have researched and developed a channel equalizer to compensate signal degradation caused by echoes outside the guard interval of an OFDM signals. This paper describes the result of field experiments of a prototype equalizer. In this experiment, trial equalizer was used at two point of Inabu area in Nagoya prefecture where is site proposed for receiving point of ISDB-T relay station.
