We have developed a new projector with the fourth new liquid crystal panel that controls the yellow light independently in UHP lamp. In this paper, we present a novel signal processing technology for the projector. This Technology controls the volume of yellow light based on brightness and chromaticity analyses. As a result, this projector achieves both high brightness and vivid color reproduction.
