10-3 Contrast improvement of polarization-switching device for multi-focus lens 3-D display

Abstract

We propose contrast improving method in 3-D image using multi-focus lens. The image quality of this 3-D display was degraded by ghost image which were caused by low contrast ratio of polarization-switching device. This degradation can be successfully improved by phase control of input and output lights using half-wave plate.
