10-4 Accommodation responses induced by convergence for stereoscopic LED display by use of a parallax barrier

Abstract

We have investigated accommodation responses for a stereoscopic LED display by use of a parallax barrier. The results show that confliction between vergence and accommodation was partially reduced at 3.5-m viewing distance, and that accommodation to targets outside the depth of focus can be induced by vergence.
