Study of Region Decision Method Based on Image Segmentation for Estimating Illuminant Color

Abstract

This paper propo ses a method to decide the appropriate region including shade for estimating illumination light from one image using log - chromaticity differences . Method of image segmentation adopts Ridge based Distribution Analysis which is not affected by distribution of shade.
