Abstract
In this study, a mechanism of tactile perception of the gradual micro bump and hole without the edge-enhancement effect is considered. In this paper, the psychophysical experiment using precise plate with gradual micro bump and hole is executed. And, by considering the features of the output of mechanoreceptors, two tactile perceptional mechanisms are proposed.
