Abstract
We suggest a new control method that unifies active steering control of Steer-By-Wire (SBW) vehicle and braking control. We had applied the "Energy Optimal Control" to active steering control of front wheel angle of SBW vehicle and got good performance. This research is based on the method and braking is also used to control yaw moment of the vehicle. The new method saves power consumption of SBW actuator.
