Abstract
A Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor measures stain with change of wavelength of reflected beam. It can catch broadband signals, but susceptible to noise. To solve the problem of FBG, authors propose a method using Parallel Factor Analysis for denoising signals. Feasibility is shown by comparing results of experiments with signal averaging method.
