Abstract
This paper discusses a new concept of micro-vibration control using MFC for a beam structure. By the tests of basic characteristics, such as generative force and response speed, it was clarified that MFC have enough potential to control micro-vibration. The overview of a reduced scale model of the proposed beam structure with MFC for micro-vibration control is also shown.
