Abstract
For moving robots for outdoors, it is essential to detect the movable road area. In this research, we build the projection transformation model of the road seen from the robot in advance, and the robot can detect point that are not on the road surface by, first detecting feature points by SURF or some other methods, and then making correspondence between the consecutive frames. In this presentation, we will give the principle of this theory and a brief demonstration.
