Abstract
In recent years, the report that Regenerative Medical Treatment using PRP (=Platelet-Rich Plasma), such as implant therapy, oral surgery, and periodontal surgery operation, which is currently performed not only among a research organization but also among general dentists are effective, is seen frequently.
It seems that the borderline between medial treatment and dentist treatment has been lost today when various kinds and uses are reported by reference about this Regenerative Medical Treatment. It is just the arrival of dentists that requires having the medical knowledge.
Among the Regenerative Medical treatment done by general dentist, the most important method would be self-blood by patients. Venous blood sampling is a method which to take the required amount of self-blood. It is well known that this Venous blood Sampling is fundamental method in medical and nursing department; however, it is not too much to say that is it not in dentistry except oral surgery and anesthesia department. Therefore individual difference will arise and this might cause a trouble with patients. In such, while talking about fundamentals of Venous blood sampling which might become the first step of Regenerative Medical Treatment, we will also consider the problems it may cause.
