Abstract

This study has compared the characteristics of Kanazawa Citizen's Art Center in Ishikawa, which is reused as a cultural facility, and Kitakagaya Creative Village in Osaka, which is revitalized as an art town, according to organize the formation processes and buildings. It is suggested that there are different approaches and models for cultural revitalization and emphasizing the need for context-specific strategies.
