Abstract
This paper reports on a practice of plurilingual and intercultural education in a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) class, utilizing an internationally co-produced film in Russian and French. The participants, comprising 40 undergraduate students, shared their interpretations of the film both before and after attending a lecture on the film by a researcher specializing in film studies. A qualitative analysis revealed a wide range of learning outcomes, including an expansion of the learners' understanding of the complex relationship between East and West, facilitated through learning the French language.
