Abstract
The Kyoto Cinema Digital Archive Program for the Cinema, “Makino Project” organized in 2000 has achieved a series of researches on the history of the Makino Film Studio. Our major results consist in collecting and cataloguing of all kinds of documentation about Makino's activities, and in constracting their databases, classtified in different categories such as image's, filmography, text's, etc. This paper describes our archival policy and the substance of our databases.
