抄録
Although sport tourism is a new term as a sightseeing form which combined a "sport" and "tourism (the tourist industry and travel)", the keyword common to both sides is "impression." It is the greatest advantage of sport tourism that many factors including local reproduction and an educational effect other than the least common denominator "impression" overlap, and a sport and the travel can expect a possibility that those common features will be the square. For the last several decades, it rises as a burgeoning industry, grows rapidly, and is obliged to a market slowdown or stagnation after that, and the sport tourism can expect a big possibility from a next-generation growth process in the travel industry of Japan by which crossroads are made to stand.
