Abstract
After the war, there were the following three big revolutions among the processes of the corn starch manufacturing : Merco centrifuge for starch separation, Bend sieves for fiber screening and Hydrocyclones for starch washing. After that, the following apparatus and machines were developed or improved : continuous steeping apparatus, grinder, gluten dewatering machine, fiber dewatering machine and CSL evaporator. In the area of the starch conversion technology, some developments have been made in liquefaction, filteration, isomerization, Fractose-Glucose fractionation, crystallization, and anaerobic waste treatment.
