In the study of Home Ecomics Education, we must pursue its philosophy. Up to this time, we have had several philosophies, namely, Confucianism, Buddhism, Christianity, western philosophies, Nationalism, especialy in Meiji-Taisho era, we set up so called "the principle of good wife and wise mother". After the great war II, our principles of Home Economics Education came to be based on humanity.
